My name is Jon Wilcox. I’m a freelance illustrator and graphic designer.
I have over a decade of experience as a visual artist both as a freelancer and as part of a team in small- and medium-sized agency environments. From 2013 to 2017 I was creative director at Beekeeper Group, a stakeholder engagement firm in downtown Washington, DC.
As a freelancer, I have been able to work with great clients including CBS Films, Comedy Central, Rutgers University, GOOD Inc, Seattle Weekly, Time Out Chicago, the Chicago Children’s Museum and many others. I’ve also produced concept art and designs for the films The Kings of Summer (2013) and Kong: Skull Island (2017).
Originally from the Metro Detroit area, I now reside in Northern Virginia. When I’m not drawing or designing, I may be riding my bike or making music.
